French fashion- the little black dress guide

It has been a while i wanted to talk about French fashion. I work on etsy, it is international and also handmade so the fashion on etsy is always different from what i see in the streets of Bordeaux. But then i realize even the neighbour Spanish has their own picks from fashions trends. So i started to look carefully what are the French women choose from over all Fashion trends.

Black is always in.

"The little black dress" always stays at the top 10 in French women`s wardrobe. Actually not even only one, every year a new one enters the wardrobe. So to dress like French get a black dress. But not an over detailed one. Simple one. We will work on details with jewelry and accessories. Which French women loves and loves. They do not go out without jewelry. Actually this is how they bring color and personality in that simple black dress.

Here is our black dress quite simple and does not have lots of details almost we can say plain. But something like this can be quite handy. Day and night it can take you everywhere just with few change.

This is a quite elegant look and can be cool for both day and night. Christals and pearls are usually the tricks for to brighten up the boring winter. Like Christmas. What we would do without Christmas. As the lights of Christmas warms up our life. Pearls and christals lights up our winter.

What about for those summer and spring days. What we do with out little black dress? Of course it is still in the top for French women. Then we change the jewelry again.

am members who lost her husband to cancer.

It started few months ago not so long ago. She told us her husband was diagnosed as lung cancer. Soon after we had received the bad news. That was really fast. I feel our hands are tied to this cold enemy sometimes. Many of us had lost a member or more to cancer. But as much as the event what is left behind is important. Our friend Sandra lives in Portugal and she has a little son. For those who don't know about the life in south Europe. It is quite hard and as i know social security is not good. Since her husband was ill he could not earn money and she is earning her living from etsy. For those who work on etsy full-time would know how hard to make a living from it. Even as someone sales regularly end of the month with all the taxes and expenses is quite miserable sometimes. So we as europeanstreet team members decided to give her a little push, a little hand to make the living a little bit easier for her and her son for few months. Until they, psychologically ready to face the world.

How to use a hair stick

 I have been hearing this question since a while now. How do you do your hair in your pictures. Well it is a top secret. No actually not... I love hair style everybody can do. Even a 10 years old should be able to do it. It should not be a rocket science to do a lovely hair with a product you have bought. So i keep doing this simple kind of hair in my pictures. A simple braid bun. A very simple one, if you know how to do a braid.




 1- Drive you hair in tree part and start to braid your hair.

 

2- Keep braiding.....
 

3- Now start to make a bun with the hair you have braid. Putting your finger in the middle and turning the hair around it helps the hair to have a good shape.

 4- Secure the end of the hair under your bun. This is a important step to keep your hair in shape while using hair stick.

 5- A little of of tidying is also cool. Check of the no access hair around.

 6- Now placing the hair fork. I have already explained in my previous tutorial. In out and in movements keep you stick in your hair securely. So push the hair stick first inwards then outwards and when it is leaving the bun make a inner movement to attach it with the rest of hair. You need to attach the bun with your hair so the last movement is very important.

 And you are done!!!

French Chrismas gifts

The Christmas bells are ringing? Not yet... Almost....Well if you are working in a fashion or marketing related job in your mind Christmas is here since summer and you are almost arriving to St Valentines:) I am a late person, not an early bird. My Christmas was in my head since 2 months but could nor arrive to my shop on time. Here is my late French Christmas.

In France how we celebrate the Christmas maybe not so different than yours. But gold and silver is unchangeable. Richness of gold give also a bit of Jazz in the air. Love it!!! I can almost hear Frank Sinatra singing. Well this is my part of Christmas not the French one...
