Gemstone hair fork hair combs and bangle

I have new inspirations this year. Wood combinations with gemstones and gold is a new adventure. The rose wood bangle i created has a moon stone on it. It is an amazing stone, shines different when light changes. And it is carved into the wood on a bed of gold leaf. It gives a very chic elegance.

 

Geometric hair fork /hair comb has an Iranian turquoise. Iranian turquoise is a bit different than common turquoise. It came from deeper in ground.

The pink ivory wood hair fork has a coral fossil on it. It is amazing how is had degrading colors and flower like patter.

Every fashion has it`s own inspirations, own foundations. Mori girl fashion had it`s from 70's fashions cuts, lots of pastel color and lace. But in the meantime it is a ecological fashion style in it`s backgorund.

So you like mori girl fashion....

As you might know, mori girl started as a Japanese fashion now its here, there everywhere. But where those ladies find their outfits from. Well, basically can be from Japan. But honestly for me it is a bit comlicated to buy clothes from the websites in Japanese or the websites in English from Japan have hight prices. So i decided to go for fashion watch. One of the great thing you can do is to know what you want, then to buy what is suggested to you. If you know about mori girl fashion and your style you can shop from local stores and still create your Mori girl look. But that needs a bit study.

Rule 1- Go for natural colors. This year mustard was in and it is a great color for mori girls, brown, cream are great natural colors. But no black it looks more gothic than mori girl for me. For this summer you have lots of color choices. As long as it looks natural kind a pale or pastel it should work for mori girls.

Rule 2 Look carefully the cuts of the clothing from Mori girls stores or magazines you like. As far as i have marked, long skirts, big cardigans, many things with lace details (not in lace), peter pan colars, ruffle and tulles.

Dreaming with poets...

The addictions

I drink a lot of coffee and tea. I have a box (giant box normally for tidying up jars) full of tea and coffees. In France there are tea shops where you can get some teas mixed with different flowers, spices and fruits. I am a big fan of it and I but quite often. Today I have bough some Italian coffee. It smells great and taste good. The only problem is me not good at making a great express. I use a traditional Italian machine to make a giant cup of coffee every morning. So my little cup of coffee might not be so appetizing for you. Anyway here some photos from my Italian coffee day.

A little more about The Ancient Muse...

I like to listen music which helps me to journey with my designs. When I am designing something Rococo I love to listen Lully. It helps me travel back in time. But most of my cute creation come in my mind when I am listening metal music. I am a big fan of Finnish metal bands. I still cant understand the reason of this contradiction.
